Following his recent score to the BAFTA-nominated and Oscar-shortlisted Marlon Brando docu-film ‘Listen To Me Marlon’, Polish composer and violinist Stefan Wesolowski will release his rapturous new album Rite of the End, on April 28th.
Full of dread, joy and pretty much every other emotion in between, a connection of feeling is easily invoked within the listener. The album is a panorama of symphonic, cathedral-sized noise, where dissonance and beauty collide via harrowing strings, mournful melodies and deep sonic geology.
Ahead of that release we have this choice cut for you. ‘Frame II’ is a fragile and haunting piece built up from mournful, keening strings hovering on the edge of discord; at once gentle and moving.
