St. Albans progressive post-hardcore outfit Pulo Revé are pleased to reveal an exclusive and scintillating cover of the Jay Hawkins classic ‘I Put A Spell On You’ which the band are releasing as a charity single in support of the Syrian refugee crisis and victims throughout the EU. The single is available on bandcamp for £1 (with the option to pay more) with all proceeds going to charity.
As always, the cover sees the quintet challenging expectations head-on and completely ripping up the rule book on the original track; laid back soul and blues influences crumble away and segue into frenetic jazz breaks, shredding guitars, beatdowns and guttural screams.
